Lori HUMPHREY

Lori HUMPHREY, 52, of South Sioux City, Nebraska, died Thursday, Aug. 4, 2016, at a local hospital.

A celebration of life will be from 4-7 p.m. at Aggies on the Square in West Point. Refreshments will be served.

A funeral was held Aug. 8 at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel in Sioux City. Interment was in Graceland Park Cemetery (note: in Sioux City, Woodbury Co., IA).

Mrs. HUMPHREY was born Sept. 17, 1963, in Fort Madison, the daughter of Edmund and Delores SPIEKERMEIR FEDLER. She married Brian HUMPHREY Oct. 1, 1983, in West Point.

Mrs. HUMPHREY grew up in West Point and graduated from Fort Madison High School in 1982.

She and her husband lived in West Point until moving to South Sioux City in 1989.

Mrs. HUMPHREY worked at MCI, First Financial Bank and Dr. John's.

She was a selfless person, often putting her family and friends first and being a mother to many. She was a good cook and baker. She enjoyed weekly meals with her family, riding motorcycle and driving Ruby with her granddaughter.

Survivors include: her husband Brian HUMPHREY of Sioux City; one son, Brandon HUMPHREY and wife Amy of Sioux City; one daughter, Jacqueline HUMPHREY-STOWE and husband Brandon of Sioux City; one granddaughter; six brothers, Mark FEDLER of Danville, Steve FEDLER of Des Moines, John FEDLER of Mantua, Ohio, Charles FEDLER of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Ed FEDLER Jr. of Athens, Greece, and Tim FEDLER of Macomb, Michigan; and six sisters, Connie FERRELL of Fairfield, Pat BECKER of Davenport, Kathy HEDGER of Fort Madison, Mary SHANNAN of Fairfield, Agnes ANDERSON of Donnellson, Susan GELSTHORPE of Fort Madison.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; one brother, Ted FEDLER; and one sister, Christine OLSON.
