WALTER M. BOWER.

FAIRFIELD. - Walter M. Bower, 70, lifelong resident of Jefferson county, died at 4:45 a.m. today at his home near Glasgow. He had been in failing health.

He was born August 22, 1884, the son of Benjamin and Ruth Ann CLINE BOWER. He was married August 23, 1905, to Minnie STEWART. He was a member of the Methodist church in Glasgow and of the Grange.

Surviving are his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Carl BISHOP of Glasgow, a grandson and a sister, Mrs. Walter BILLINGSLEY of Glasgow. Eight brothers and sisters preceded him in death.

The funeral will be in the Glasgow Methodist church Sunday at 2 p.m. Ellis Andrews, a ministerial student and the Rev. William Morehead will be in charge. The body will be taken from the Hoskins funeral home in Fairfield to the Bower home Sunday morning.
