Lillian Ruth MILLER CLUBB

Ruth Marie CLUBB, 66, of Fairfield, died Wednesday, April 27, 2016, at SunnyBrook Living Care Center in Fairfield after an extended illness.

The body has been cremated.

A gathering for family and friends will be 5-7 p.m. Saturday at Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield.

In lieu of flowers, the family has established a Butterfly Effect Eco Memorial Fund. To donate, visit www.beem.mydagsite.com. Memorials also can be left at the funeral home or sent to the family at 1956 Gear Ave., Fairfield 52556.

Mrs. CLUBB was born April 21, 1950, in Kilbourn, the daughter of Emery and Lillian MORRIS MILLER.

She was called "Gidget" by her friends from her youth.

Mrs. CLUBB attended school in Keosauqua. She latter attained a General Education Development certificate June 3, 1981, from Indian Hills Community College.

Mrs. CLUBB was baptized on March 7, 1977, at the Church of Christ in Centerville.

Mrs. CLUBB was a homemaker.

Survivors include: two children, David "Dave" EMORY with wife Christy MILLER of Fairfield, and Lila Denise "Lila D." with husband Scot LECY of Lexington, South Carolina; eight grandchildren; one sister, Twyla MILLER of Marion; two brothers, Harold of Davenport and Larry MILLER of Fairfield. She is also survived by her former husband Duane CLUBB.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; three brothers, James "Richard," Gale of Brighton, and Allen of Granger; three sisters, Ida Mae LEIB, Janet LONG and Lila Beth SIMMONS; and half siblings, Bud MILLER, Lester MILLER and Betty JONES.
