Former Real Estate Man To be Buried Here On Thursday
Alfred R. (sic) LARSON passed away this morning at 8:15, after a short illness. Mr. LARSON was a well known real estate agent in Fairfield and made his home with his family at 400 West Hempstead street. He was 59 years old having been born in Sweden on Feb. 28, 1874.
The funeral services will be held at the Campbell Funeral Home on Thursday at 2:00 o'clock. The services will be in charge of Dr. W. F. Rex of the Lutheran church of which Mr. LARSON was a faithful member. Burial will be in the Evergreen cemetery.
Mr. LARSON is survived by his wife and the following children: Clifton LARSON of Ottumwa, Virgil LARSON of Fairfield, and Mrs. Fern FISHBURN of Fairfield.
He also leaves a brother and sister, Mrs. Levi LARSON and Elmer LARSON both of Minneapolis. One brother, Oscar, preceded him in death.

Note: Apparently he was known by either Alfred or Albert; his gravestone and the WPA burials survey both refer to him as Albert. He is buried in Lot 1st.023 with wife Amanda J. who died in 1938.
