Judy Lynn BROWN

Judy Lynn BROWN, 64, of Keosauqua, died from complications of diabetes at 1 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 20, 2015, at home surrounded by family.

The funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with the Rev. Bill Shewmaker officiating. Burial will be in Spencer Cemetery in Stockport (note: in Van Buren Co., IA).

Visitation with family will be 1:30-2:30 p.m. Wednesday prior to the service.

Memorials to the family can be left at the funeral home or mailed to the family at PO Box 105, Keosauqua 52565.

Mrs. BROWN was born May 2, 1951, in Keosauqua, the daughter of Glen and Betty WHITCANACK HENDRICKS. She married Larry BROWN Feb. 28, 1970, at Stockport Christian Church.

Mrs. BROWN spent her childhood years in Stockport. She graduated from Van Buren High School in 1969. She and her husband spent their married life in Stockport, Keosauqua and Mt. Sterling areas.

She worked almost 20 years at Walmart in Fairfield.

Her greatest joy was the time she could spend with her family.

Survivors include: her parents; her husband; two daughters, Terri NORTON and husband Kris of Keosauqua and Becky McMURRY of Keosauqua; one daughter-in-law, Kathy BROWN of Keosauqua; three sisters, Linda JOHNSON, Ann GODDARD and Barbara BOLEY, all of Keosauqua; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by: one son, Mike.
