David Dean HUCKE

David Dean HUCKE, 75, of Waterloo, died Monday, Aug. 31, 2015, at Cedar Valley Hospice Home.

No service is planned at this time.

Memorials can be directed to the family for the benefit of Cedar Valley Hospice. Condolences can be left at www.overtonservice.com.

Parrott & Wood Chapel of Memories in Waterloo is assisting with arrangements.

Mr. HUCKE was born Nov. 12, 1939, in Fredericksburg, the son of Vern and Esther MEYER HUCKE. He married Annabelle BERKELY Jan. 9, 1962.

Mr. HUCKE served in the United States Navy Submarine Service following graduation from high school.

He worked as a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service.

Survivors include: his wife, Anna; one son, Frederick HUCKE and wife Susan of Fairfield; one daughter, Deana HIMSCHOOT and husband Brian of Waterloo; four grandchildren; one brother, Mark TAYLOR of Waterloo; and two sisters, Brenda KALTENBACH of Oelwein and Rebecca LEDTJE of Waterloo.
