Cornelia 'Louise' HOSKINS

Cornelia "Louise" HOSKINS, 85, of Fairfield, died Sunday, April 19, 2015, at University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics in Iowa City.

The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Pleasant Plain Friends Church, with the Rev. Mac McDonald officiating. Burial will be at Pleasant Plain Friends Cemetery.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Pleasant Plain Friends Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Pleasant Plain Friends Cemetery. Cards and memorials can be mailed to Dalene HOOK, 507 South St., Brighton 52540. Online condolences can be made at www.behnerfh.com.

Behner Funeral Home & Crematory is assisting with arrangements.

Mrs. HOSKINS was born April 10, 1930, in Keosauqua, the daughter of Clyde and Edith BONAR COUNTRYMAN. She married George SHARTS in 1948. He died in 1971. She married Hubert HOSKINS in 1972 at Pleasant Plain Friends Church.

Mrs. HOSKINS lived most of her life in Jefferson County and was a homemaker. She was a member of Pleasant Plain Friends Church. She loved spending time with family and friends, especially her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include: her husband, Hubert HOSKINS; four children, Dalene HOOK and husband Larry of Brighton, Gary HOSKINS and wife Kathy of Iowa City, Jim HOSKINS and wife Gwen of Fairfield and Lugene JACKSON and husband Russell of Laporte, Colorado; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Donna STORY of Birmingham.

In addition to her first husband, George SHARTS, she was preceded in death by: four brothers, Veryl, Dale, Clifford and Dean COUNTRYMAN; one sister, Maxine WOLFE; one stepdaughter and one son-in-law, Charlene and John IBBOTSON.
