D. Lillian KERR, 76, of Fairfield, died Thursday, feb. 26, 2015, at SunnyBrook Living Care Center in Fairfield.

The funeral is planned for 2 p.m. Friday at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield, with the Rev. Monte Knudsen officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Fairfield.

Visitation for family and friends will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday and 1-2 p.m. Friday prior to the service at Behner Funeral Home.

Memorials can be made to Faith Christian Outreach Center. Cards and memorials can be sent to 1205 S. Fifth St., Fairfield 52556. Online condolences can be made at www.behnerfh.com.

Mrs. KERR was born July 1, 1938, in Davis County, the daughter of Hubert Anson and Ruth Ione LONGCOR RITZ. She married Glen "Dale" KERR April 21, 1957. He died Sept. 19, 2013.

Mrs. KERR worked at Jefferson County Hospital and Ottumwa Regional Hospital as a registered nurse before she retired in 1993.

Some of Mrs. KERR's hobbies and interests were reading, music, watching San Antonio Spurs, people watching and spending time with family and friends.

She was the Sunday school superintendent at Free Methodist Church and help with fundraisers for the American Heart Association.

Survivors include: two daughters, Lori Lynn LUKE and husband Rod of Fairfield and Linda Raye CROSSLEY and husband Mitch of Queen Creek, Arizona; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three sisters, Betty OVESON of Moscow, Iowa, Madalyn FIGG of Muscatine and Mada JONES of Cedar Rapids.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Hazel BOYD and Evelyn LOUGH; and two brothers, Lyle RITZ and Neal RITZ.
