"C. T. Gardner, of Business Corners, a highly respected citizen died very suddenly Jan. 8. Mr. Gardner was in his 83 years. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Spane, of Selma. The funeral is supposed to have been one of the largest ever known in that community."
