Laura Louise SIMPSON

Laura Louise SIMPSON, formerly of Fairfield, died Monday, Nov. 10, 2014, in her home in Mt. Pleasant.

A celebration of life is being planned by Ms. SIMPSON's friends and will be held at a later date.

Behner Funeral Home & Crematory in Fairfield is assisting.

Ms. SIMPSON was born May 11, 1956, in Fairfield, the daughter of Frank LeRoy and Lucile HARDAWAY SIMPSON.

She graduated from Fairfield High School with the Class of 1974 and attended the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and Iowa State University.

She was a lifelong member of First Presbyterian Church and the local chapter of P.E.O. She was active in animal welfare and at the Fairfield Volunteer Center, where she was named Volunteer of the year in 2010.

Survivors include: a cousin, Mike TRIBBY of Madison, Wisconsin; and a cousin, Sherrie BARON of Fairfield.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
