GLENDALE. MRS. ELIZA RIZOR, who came to this place in 1852 with her husband, PETER RIZOR, died Sunday after an illness of several years. Her aged husband, with whom she had lived half a century, survives her, as well as a son, two daughters and a great many grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted by REV. C. COCHRAN at the church, and interment was made in the Union Cemetery.

9 February 1902 Mrs. Eliza Rizor, wife of Peter Rizor, died February 9 at her home near Glendale. She was buried inthe Union Cemetery. Funeral services were conducted by her Pastor, Reverend Cochran of the M.E. Church. Mr. & Mrs.Rizor came to this county in 1852 and have since made their home here. Aunt Eliza, as she was familiarly known, was aloving wife and mother and it was in the home that the uniform kindness of her life was fully known. The childrenwho looked to her for advice and instruction in their childhood days also found her a wise counselor in years ofmaturity. She leaves to morn her loss an aged husband who has been her companion for over fifty years, 2 daughtersand a son - Mrs. R.C. Mickey of Mystic, Mrs. Alexander Allerdice of Beckwith, and W.J. Allerdice of Salina. Sincethe death of her daughter, Mrs. Robert Teeter, Aunt Eliza has been in failing health.
