Bertha KAUFFMAN, wife of John KURTZ, died at her home half a mile north of Germanville last Sunday of scarlet fever. Leaves husband and three small children, one a babe of five months and the eldest only four years old. The funeral was held at 9 o'clock Tuesday morning and interment in the Catholic cemetery. It is a sad case and the afflicted husband and little ones have the sympathy of the entire community.
