Kathryn Y. CURTIS

Kathryn Y. CURTIS, 43, of Milton died at 10:43 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2014, at the home of her sister in Stockport (note: in Van Buren Co., IA).

The funeral is set for 2 p.m. Saturday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua. Burial will be in Pittsburg Cemetery, west of Keosauqua (in Van Buren Co., IA).

Visitation, with family present, will be 1-2 p.m. Saturday prior to the service.

Memorials to the family to help with final expenses can be left at the funeral home or mailed to the family at 309 W. Maple St., Milton 52570.

Mrs. CURTIS was born April 24, 1971, in Keosauqua, the daughter of Jay and Alice MILLER EDWARDS.

Mrs. CURTIS attended Fox Valley High School and worked as a home health aide.

She had lived in Kirksville, Missouri, and Milton.

Survivors include: her mother, Alice CAVINESS of Memphis, Missouri; three daughters, Tiffany MILLER and husband Anthony of Milton, Cheyenne McCUISTON and Breanna McCUISTON, both of Columbia, Missouri; one son C.J. McCUISTON of Columbia, Missouri; five grandchildren; one brother, Jerry CAVINESS of Fort Madison; three sisters, Tina EDWARDS and Jayne DABNEY, both of Memphis, Missouri, and Angel SPURGEON of Stockport; and her estranged husband, Chad CURTIS of Keokuk.

She was preceded in death by: her father; two sisters, Leona EDWARDS and Dawn CAVINESS; and two brothers, Lloyd CAVINESS and Merle WILEY.
