Rites Monday for Harry BOOS

LOCKRIDGE - Harry A. BOOS, 84, Route 1, Lockridge, died at 4:55 a.m. today at Ottumwa Regional Health Center in Ottumwa, where he had been a patient since April 22.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at First Lutheran Church in Fairfield with the Rev. Lenwood Monte officiating. Burial will be in Lockridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 8 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Raymond Funeral Home, Fairfield. A memorial has been established to First Lutheran Church.

BOOS was born Nov. 10, 1902 in Jefferson County, the son of William and Ida CRILE BOOS. He lived his entire life in Jefferson County, was a retired farmer and a member of First Lutheran Church. He married Wilda OGDEN Aug. 14, 1929 at Burlington. She survives.

Also surviving are two daughters, La Von HOSTETLER, Lockridge; Eleanor GAUNT, Shelbyville, Ill.; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. A brother and a sister preceded him in death.
