Mrs. PRUNTY

Elsie Jane PRUNTY, 86, died at 4:40 a.m. today at the Ottumwa Manor in Ottumwa. She had been in failing health for a number of years.

The body is at Weston Behner Funeral Home where last rites are pending.

Elisie Jane PRUNTY was born Feb. 6, 1887, in Wapello County. She was the daughter of Thomas and Rhoda COBLER REINIER.

She was married Oct. 7, 1908, to Everett F. PRUNTY. He died May 27, 1968. Mrs. PRUNTY had lived in the Fairfield area for over 50 years and the family home is at 106 N. Third.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Marie MURR, Macon, Mo., and Mrs. Lula Mae ROCKWELL, Oskaloosa; one son, Robert J. PRUNTY, Camanche; nine grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and one brother, Will REINIER, Milwaukee, Wis.

Mrs. PRUNTY was preceded in death by two sons, three sisters and one brother.

PRUNTY Rites Wednesday

Last rites will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. for Mrs. Elsie Jane PRUNTY, 86, who died Monday at Ottumwa Manor in Ottumwa.

The services tomorrow will be held at the Weston Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Jim Stumbo officiating. Burial will be in the Competine Cemetery northwest of Batavia (note: in Wapello Co., IA).

Mrs. PRUNTY was a native of Wapello County but had lived in the Fairfield area for over 50 years.
