Jean LAMSON

Jean LAMSON, 93, formerly of Fairfield, died Wednesday, April 16, 2003, in Peoria, Ariz.

A private service was held.

Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church, Evergreen Cemetery or to the donor's choice.

Mrs. LAMSON was a resident of Fairfield from the early 1940s until 1985, when she and her husband Jim moved to Sun City West, Ariz. During her residency, she was active in the Fairfield Little Theatre and produced and directed productions, including "The Pied Piper of Hamlin," "Rumplestiltskin" and "Little Black Sambo."

Survivors include her husband; one son, Jeff LAMSON of Des Moines; two granddaughters; and three great-grandchildren.

Admin. note: Jean's maiden name was CARLSON, she was born July 3, 1909, and there is an error in the death year on her gravestone; it reads 2002 instead of 2003. Husband Jim (James) would die the following year, and they are buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Fairfield, IA, in Lot Old.P.038.
