“WILLIAM CHANCY CRENSHAW, son of Dial and Susanna Crenshaw, born Jan. 5, 1862, d. July 4, 1924. Born and lived in Jefferson County. Married Geneva DeWitt Nov. 5, 187_. Four children: Mrs. Lillian Roberts of Keokuk; Mrs. Susie Marton of Glasgow; Mrs. Edith Philips of Fairfield, and Luther of Mt. Pleasant. Three sisters and one brother: Mrs. Etta Smith of Hydro, Okla.; Mrs. Gincy Pagel of Fairfield; Mrs. Alice Philips of Stockport, and Emra C. of this city, besides 19 grandchildren…..Interment in the Mt. Zion cemetery.”
