Larry L. 'Butch' LEWIS

Larry L. "Butch" LEWIS, 73, of rural Bonaparte, was found dead at his home, Friday, Dec. 27, 2013.

A memorial is 6 p.m. today, Monday, at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with the Rev. Timothy Roller officiating.

Visitation with family present is an hour before the service, 5-6 p.m. today. Private burial of cremains will be at a later date in Bonaparte Cemetery (note: in Van Buren County, IA).

Memorials to Kahoka Bible Baptist Church may be left at the funeral home or mailed to the family at P.O. Box 115, Bonaparte 52620.

Mr. LEWIS was born July 18, 1940, near Utica south of Stockport, the son of William and Edith ROBBINS LEWIS. He married Doris BASQUAN. They divorced.

He graduated from Bonaparte High School and worked as an inspector at Iowa Army Ammunition Plant near Burlington.

Survivors include two sisters, Sharon ELLIOTT of Bonaparte and Gerry ROLLER of Knoxville, Tenn.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Billie TOVREA; and two brothers Buddy LEWIS and Bernadale LEWIS.
