Grace DILLE, 96, died today, Dec. 19, 2013, at Parkview Care Center in Fairfield.

Services are pending at Behner Funeral Home & Crematory.

Grace DILLE

Grace DILLE, 96, formerly of Birmingham, died Thursday, Dec. 19, 2013, at Parkview Care Center in Fairfield.

A funeral is at 1 p.m. Monday at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield, with the Rev. Danny Cary officiating. Burial will be at Winchester Cemetery in Birmingham (note: in Van Buren County, IA).

Visitation for family and friends is noon to 1 p.m. Monday, prior to the service at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to Birmingham Presbyterian Church.

Cards and memorials can be sent to 1708 Linden Drive, Apt A, Fairfield 52556.

Mrs. DILLE was born Jan. 6, 1917, in Stockport, the daughter of Leslie Clyde and Viola Grace BESWICK GREGORY. She married John Vance DILLE, Aug. 4, 1935, in Memphis, Mo. He died Jan. 28, 1988.

She was a member of the Presbyterian Church and Presbyterian Ladies Aide (sic).

She liked to play cards, gamble and reading.

Survivors include three children, Myrna COOK of Fairfield, Nedra LETTS of Coal Valley, Ill., and Marva RICHARDS of Columbus Junction; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Shannon Lyle DILLE; three brothers, Ernest Leroy GREGORY, Karl GREGORY and Clyde LaVerne GREGORY; and one sister, Mary Frances KAUFFMAN.
