LIBERTYVILLE - John M. RUSK, 64, died Wednesday, 6:15 a.m., at Jefferson County Hospital. He had been in failing health for several years.
RUSK was born March 30, 1913 at Kirkwood, Ill., the son of Fred and Edna STEVENSON RUSK. On Aug. 5, 1933 he married Leona BAKER.
A retired concrete finisher, RUSK had lived in the Libertyville community over 29 yeas. A member of the American Legion, he was in the U.S. Navy in World War II.
Surviving are his wife; two sons, Mitchell LeRoy RUSK of Independence, Mo., Thomas of Fairfield; four daughters, Joyce SNOOR of Utica, Mich., Marian LAUGHLIN of Selma, Charlotte McCLAIN of Libertyville and Christine OGDEN of Ottumwa; 19 grandchildren.
Two great-grandchildren; one sister, Margaret NEWLON of Fairfield; two brothers, Fred and Dale RUSK, both of Bellflower, Calif.
