YOUNG MOTHER DIES MONDAY

Mrs. Len HELSEL Dies After Two Months Illness; Funeral Wed.

This community was saddened this week by the untimely death of Mrs. Florence HELSEL, 33, wife of Len HELSEL of northwest of Milton.

Mrs. HELSEL died at her home about three oclock Monday afternoon. Her condition has been critical since the birth of a baby daughter by Caesarian operation September 16.

She was the former Miss Florence FISHER, daughter of Clint and Georgia FISHER. A lifelong resident of the Milton and Cantril communities, she has made her home on a farm near Milton since her marriage to Len HELSEL in May 1926.

She is survived by her husband, a sixt-year-old (sp) son, Harold William, and infant daughter, Patsy Rebecca. Also her father, Clint FISHER of Cantril, and three sisters, Mrs. Earl WARNING and Mrs. Ira DORSEY, both of Cantril, and Mrs. Charles HILL of Missouri.

A large crowd attended the funeral services held at the Methodist church here Wednesday at 2 p.m. in charge of the pastor, the Rev. Harvey E. Butler. John R. Holland sang "A Perfect Day" and "When I Take My Vacation in Heaven." Casket bearers were Max Jones, Pearson Trader, Neal Hudson, Olin Johnson, M.E. Standard and Carl Roby. Interment was in Milton Sunnyside cemetery.
