Robert W. FELLOWS

Robert W. FELLOWS, 90, of Ottumwa, died Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2013, at home.

A private graveside service and burial of cremains will be in Leando Cemetery in Douds (note: in Van Buren Co., IA).

Memorials to Leando Cemetery may be mailed to the family at 75 Summer Hill Drive, Carbondale, IL 62902.

Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua is assisting the family.

Mr. FELLOWS was born June 8, 1923, in rural Keosauqua, the son of Fred D. and Elizabeth Hope STEWART FELLOWS. He married Wyona PEARSON March 9, 1943. She died Aug. 25, 1988.

He graduated from Douds High School in 1940, and attended Lane Technical Institute in Chicago.

He worked as a tool and die maker for a furnace manufacturer in Chicago where the family lived for many years.

He and his wife moved to Englewood, Fla., in 1985, and he moved to Ottumwa in 2001.

Survivors include one son, Edward FELLOWS and spouse Elizabeth of Ottumwa; one daughter, Sandra ATWOOD and spouse Paul of Carbondale, Ill.; six granddaughters; eight great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Frances McDANIEL and Josephine MILLER, and one brother, Paul FELLOWS.
