SCHILLERSTROM Rites Saturday

Mrs. Gust C. SCHILLERSTROM, 88, former resident of Fairfield, died at 8:10 a.m. Monday at the West Valley Community Hospital in Encino, Calif.

The casket is being shipped to the Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield where services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. Dean Berg officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Raymond Funeral Home after 10 a.m. Thursday.

Elle PETERSON was born March 17, 1885, at Perlee, the daughter of Andrew and Clara SWANSON PETERSON. She was reared and educated in the Perlee Community.

Her marriage to Gust C. SCHILLERSTROM took place Oct. 6, 1915, in Ottumwa. They made their home in Fairfield until 1966 when they moved to Chatsworth, Calif.

Her late husband, who died Feb. 18, 1972, was associated with the grocery business in Fairfield for many years before they moved to California. The family home was at 600 N. Main.

Mrs. SCHILLERSTROM was a member of the First Lutheran Church.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Donald BARNES, Chatsworth, Calif.; one granddaughter; a brother, Nels PETERSON, Des Moines; and a sister, Mrs. Caroline KYMER, Casper, Wyo.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. SCHILLERSTROM was preceded in death by one sister.
