Mrs. CHEZUM Rites Set

Mrs. Minnie G. CHEZUM, 80, longtime resident of the Fairfield Community, died at 12:15 a.m. today at the Jefferson County Hospital. She had been in failing health the past six months and seriously ill the past week.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Free Methodist Church with the Rev. George Koch officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery.

The body is at the Weston Behner Funeral Home.

Minnie G. CHEZUM was born April 28, 1893, in Henry County, the daughter of Samuel and Mary SCHULTZ ARNOLD. She was married to Glen S. CHEZUM Feb. 15, 19192. He died Feb. 2, 1973.

Mrs. CHEZUM lived most of her life in the Fairfield Community and was a member of the Free Methodist Church.

Survivors include four sons and three daughters. They are Ralph CHEZUM, Mrs. Emma YEOMAN, Harry CHEZUM, Mrs. Ruth SCHNEIDER, all of Fairfield; Donald CHEZUM, Knoxville, Ill.; John CHEZUM, Viola, Ill.; Mrs. Betty MOWREY, Rock Island, Ill.; also 18 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.
