Mrs. METZ, 81, Taken In Death

Mrs. Alice EASTON METZ, 81, former local resident, died Tuesday at Lake City, Fla.

Last rites will be held Thursday night at the Beaman-Ward Funeral Home in Keystone Heights, Fla. Graveside services are pending in Fairfield with arrangements in charge of the Weston Behner Funeral Home.

Mrs. METZ was born April 20, 1892 in Albia, the daughter of Charles Perry and Cordelia Allen COLLINS WRIGHT. She was married to Jack EASTON in 1911. He died May 30, 1931. On Aug. 26, 1934 she was married to Harry W. METZ. He preceded his wife in death April 8, 1956.

Mrs. METZ is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Vera AMBY, Keystone Heights, Fla., with whom she resided for the past 12 years.

Also surviving are a stepson, Lloyd H. METZ, Fairfield; and a sister, Mrs. Beatrice THOMAS, Largo, Fla. One son, one brother and one sister are deceased. Mrs. METZ was a member of the Fairfield American Legion Auxiliary.

Grave Services For Mrs. METZ

Graveside services for Mrs. Alice EASTON METZ, 81, who died Tuesday in Florida, will be held Saturday at 2 p.m., at Evergreen Cemetery. The Rev. George W. Koch will officiate.

The body will arrive at the Weston Behner Funeral Home late this evening.
