"ANOTHER SOLDIER GONE. On Monday evening last the remains of T. W. Clapp were brought home from St. Louis for interment. Mr. Clapp was a member of Capt. Robison's company in the 3d regiment of Cavalry, and died in Benton Barracks Hospital of Typhoid Fever. He was 21 years of age last March. The first notification his parents had of his death was the arrival of the corpse at home in charge of Mr. John Badger. He was a young man very much liked by his associates and the members of Co. F, and his loss is severely felt, both by them and his afflicted parents."
