Eleanor HARWOOD rites pending

Eleanor vivian HARWOOD, 73, 603 S. Sixth, died suddenly this morning at her home.

Arrangements are pending at Behner Funeral Home.

HARWOOD rites set Monday

Funeral services for Eleanor Vivian HARWOOD, who died suddenly Friday morning at her home at 603 S. Sixth, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Donald Hickman officiating.

Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may call at their convenience beginning this evening at Behner Funeral Home. A memorial will be established.

Mrs. HARWOOD, 73, was born July 8, 1913 in New Sweden, the daughter of Edward and Garda LINDAHL NELSON. She married Lafayette HARWOOD Dec. 1, 1936; he died March 9, 1965.

Mrs. HARWOOD lived her entire life in the Fairfield community where she was a homemaker and had worked as a clerk at Michael's Flowers.

She is survived by four sons: Kenneth, Ottumwa; Carroll, Fairfield; Tom, Danville; and Michael, Fairfield; five grandsons, one granddaughter, one great-grandson, one great-granddaughter, and two brothers: Willard NELSON, Lockridge; and Cecil NELSON, Eddyville.

Mrs. Harwood was preceded in death by an infant son, one granddaughter and one brother, Renhold.
