Services are pending at Raymond Funeral Home.

Services for Lester L. FISHEL will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Raymond Funeral Home with the Rev. Donald Hickman and the Rev. James Cecil officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
FISHEL, 73, of 901 W. Grimes died at 8:52 a.m. Friday at Jefferson County Hospital where he had been a patient since March 19.
FISHEL was born Sept. 26, 1910, in Milton, the son of David M. and Hazel ANDERSON FISHEL. He was reared in the Mount Zion neighborhood near Libertyville. He married Margurite LINNELL Sept. 20, 1934, in Fairfield, where his family had moved in 1934.
He was employed at Iowa Malleable for 38 years before his retirement. He was a member and past president of Local 159, International Molders and Allied Workers Union.
In addition to his wife, FISHEL is survived by four daughters and one son: John FISHEL, Nellie OOSTHOEK and Marie BAKER, all of Fairfield, Lesta ROLAND, Knoxville and Marian THOMPSON, Winston-Salem, N.C. A number of grandchildren also survive.
One brother, Frank FISHEL of San Bernadino, Calif., and five sisters are living: Elizabeth ANGSTEAD, San Bernadino, Calif.; Natlie MANLEY, Ottumwa; Bettye LUKINS, Fair Oaks, Calif.; Florence SCHUSTER, Highland, Calif.; and Shirley HIATT, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be left to the Foursquare Church.
