Grace Marie TRIGG

Grace Marie TRIGG, 86, of Anaheim, California, died Friday, June 7th, 2013, at Chapman Medical Center in Orange, California

She was born August 10, 1926, near Packwood, the daughter of Loraine J. and Ruby C. (REEDER) TRIGG. She lived with her family in Ollie, Hedrick and Richland growing up.

She graduated from Richland High School in 1943. Not long after graduation she moved with her family to Virginia Beach, Virginia then in 1947 the family moved to the Los Angeles, California area.

Grace worked for many years for Bell Telephone in California and was one of their first female executives. She continued with "Ma Bell" until her retirement in 1981.

She worked for the Los Angeles County Library System during her retirement.

She is survived by her sister, Harried "Peggy" KAVANAGH, of Whittier, California and her brother-in-law, Kermit L. HINSHAW of Ottumwa, formerly of Richland. Also her nephews; John HINSHAW - Ankeny, Korwin HINSHAW - Fairfield, and Alan KAVANAGH - Castaic, CA, her nieces; Mary Kay KOTZMAN - Los Angeles, CA, Emily EMONIN - Marion, IA, Margaret WELLS - Manhattan Beach, CA, Nancy MARSHALL - Whittier, CA, Candice BARNES - Wildomar, CA, Sallie HAYES - Fairfield, Kay KAVANAGH -Whittier, CA, Jane VAN DYKE - Anaheim, CA.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers; William "Bill" TRIGG and Paul TRIGG, her sister; Janet HINSHAW and her niece; Emily TRIGG.

A small gathering in memory of Grace TRIGG will be held at the home of her sister, "Peggy" KAVANAGH in Whittier, California.

Burial will be at a later date in the family plot at the Highland Cemetery in Richland with a small graveside service.
