Janie B. RHOADES

Janie B. RHOADES, 71, 302 S. 17th St., died at 6:55 p.m. Monday at Jefferson County Hospital.

The service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Ed Parker officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be open starting Wednesday morning. Memorials may be made to the charity of donor's choice.

Mrs. RHOADES was born Sept. 23, 1919, in Jefferson County, the daughter of Alva and Rossie COOK SCHULTZ. She married Jack H. RHOADES on May 21, 1937, in Unionville, Mo. He died Dec. 11, 1988. A homemaker, she had lived most of her life in the Fairfield community. She was affiliated with Calvary Baptist Church.

Surviving are a brother, Marshall SCHULTZ, and a sister, Bessie I. HECKETHORN, both of Fairfield. Her parents, and a brother, William, preceded her in death.
