POPEJOY Rites At Colfax

Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence E. GUSTAFSON, 400 South B, and their son Jerry, and Myrtle POPEJOY, 304 E. Madison, were in Colfax, Ill., Thursday, March 22, to attend the last rites of Mrs. May POPEJOY.

The deceased was the mother-in-law of Myrtle POPEJOY and the grandmother of Betty GUSTAFSON. Her son was the late Hartzell POPEJOY of Fairfield.

She was an aunt of Mr. and Mrs. Lester POPEJOY, rural route 3, and Mrs. Ella POPEJOY of the Bethany Home.

Mrs. May POPEJOY had been in failing health and bedfast for the past four years. She was 91 years old.

Mrs. May POPEJOY's other two daughters attended the last rites. They are Margie POPEJOY and Mrs. Edith BOYLE, Moline, Ill.
