Irma DROZ

Irma DROZ, 94, of Fairfield died at 3:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 19, 2001, Parkview Care Center, 2237 Highway 34 East.

Following her wishes, a private graveside rite was held today at Evergreen Cemetery in Fairfield.

Memorials to Fairfield Public Library or Fairfield Concert Association may be sent to Behner Funeral Home, 203 S. Main St., Fairfield 52556.

Miss DROZ was born Sept. 2, 1907, in Fairfield, the daughter of William and Cordia DAVIDSON DROZ.

She lived most of her life in the Fairfield community. She attended Parsons College for two years. She was secretary for Les Pumroy at Loudens Machinery Company for 37 years. She played piano for silent movies at the Fairfield Coed Theater.

Her hobbies included being a world traveler and a St. Louis Cardinal baseball fan.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and one sister, Minnie.
