Ella Louise KAUSE

Ella Louise KAUSE, 88, of Fairfield, died Friday afternoon, Oct. 12, 2001, at the Long Term Care Unit of the Jefferson County Hospital.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Evergreen Cemetery, with the Rev. Ken Kent officiating.

The casket will be closed. Friends may sign the register book today and Tuesday at Raymond Funeral Home prior to the graveside service. Memorials may be made to Jefferson County Lifeline or the Long Term Care Unit of the Jefferson County Hospital.

Mrs. KAUSE was born July 10, 1913, in Fairfield, the daughter of Charles L. and Elizabeth HESTON ALLISON. She married Raymond Leon KAUSE Oct. 19, 1941, in Missouri. He died May 16, 1968.

A lifetime resident of Fairfield, she graduated from Fairfield High School with the class of 1931. She worked at Woolsworth's, Brown-Lynch-Scott Stores, at Louden Machinery Company for 14 years and Fairfield Engineering for 10 years. She was the last of her immediate family.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church for more than 60 years.

Survivors include her nieces, Diane JOHNSON, Beth BROWNLEE, Bonnie ALLISON and Cathy GEVOCK, all of Fairfield.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Dick ALLISON; and two sisters, Maxine COLE and Jeannette DUCKWORTH.
