The service for Frank L. "Bud" ADLER, 64, 310 W. Adams St., who was killed Saturday morning, June 25, 1988, in a semi-pickup truck accident east of Batavia, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Raleigh Gordon officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Family visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. A memorial has been established to the Eva ADLER family.
ADLER was born Jan. 12, 1924, in Fairfield, the son of Frank and Laura MAKEPEACE ADLER Sr. He married Eva BALLARDO May 6, 1971, in Fairfield and lived his entire life in Jefferson County.
Surviving are his wife; three sons, Richard ADLER of Fairfield, Oliver SCHWAB of Prairie Village, Kan., John SCHWAB of Fort Bragg, N.C.; four daughters, Jean Ann EULRICH of Jefferson, Vivian WALTON of Canby, Ore., Mary Lou SCHWAB of Fairfield, Cathy BRUMBAUGH of Ottumwa; 25 grandchildren; a brother, Bobby ADLER of Washington; three sisters, Shawn ADLER, Grace HARMON, Lori SCHNABLE, all of Portland, Ore.; several nieces and nephews. A brother, Charles Edwar (sic - Edward); a sister, Zelma and a son, Frank W., preceded him in death.
