Judy BRUEY rites Saturday

Judy Anna BRUEY, 39, Route 3, died at 10:10 a.m. Thursday at University Hospitals in Iowa City (note: in Johnson Co., IA).

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Clair Odell officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Family visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday. Memorials have been established to Lupus Research and the Ronald McDonald House.

Miss BRUEY was born Oct. 18, 1947 in Fairfield, the daughter of Richard and Bettye STARK BRUEY. A 1965 Fairfield High School graduate, she had been a dental assistant for Dr. L. B. Carter and a nurse's aide at Nelson's Nursing Home, Parkview Care Center and the Jefferson County Care Facility. Her interests included her French poodle, Heidi, and collecting bells.

She is survived by her parents; a sister, Sandy NELSON of Route 1; four nieces and a nephew, Amy, Mindy and Richard TEETER, Jolene and Julia NELSON.
