ROSS Rites On Tuesday

Mrs. Ella Mae ROSS, 80, died at 4:40 p.m. Saturday at the Jefferson County Hospital after she had been in failing health the past several years. Her home is at 700 S. Fifth.

Services will be at 2 p.m. at the Weston Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. D.O. Van Dyne officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery.

Ella Mae ROSS was born April 29, 1896, at Clinton, the daughter of Clarence and Annie DAVIS ALLEN. She was married Oct. 5, 1916, to Robert I. ROSS. He died Nov. 4, 1967.

Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Minnie WINSLOW, Fairfield; Mrs. Gertrude HICKENBOTTOM, Rock Island, Ill.; Mrs. Ruth QUIGLEY, Covina, Calif.; Mrs. Mildred WARD, Clovis, N.M.; and Mrs. Letha DRZYCIMSKI, Brighton.

Also 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. Mary VAN ISENGHEM, Rock Island, Ill.; and a brother, Truman ALLEN, Moline, Ill.

Mrs. ROSS was preceded in death by a daughter, a son, four brothers and a sister.
