Luella Evelyn "Lola' DAHL, 85, Route 4, died Sunday morning at her home.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at First Lutheran Church with the Rev. John Meyer officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Raymond Funeral Home. Memorials have been established to First Lutheran Church and the Order of Eastern Star Lodge.
Mrs. DAHL was born May 24, 1902 in Henry County, the daughter of Gust and Ellen JOHNSON. She grew up in the Henry County area before moving to Fairfield. She married Brock DAHL May 30, 1926 at Lancaster, Mo. They lived in Jefferson County, most of the time near Fairfield. She was a member of First Lutheran Church and a 25-year member of Order of Eastern Star. She had worked at the Farmer Union Coal Company, Fairfield Glove, Dexter Company, and for a number of years at O'Grady's Cleaners.
Surviving are her husband; a son and daughter-in-law, John and Melva DAHL of Fairfield; a daughter, Jean DE ROMA of Olmsted Falls, Ohio; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a brother, Harold JOHNSON of Winfield and a sister, Nellie WOLIN of Mount Pleasant. Five sisters and two brothers preceded her in death.
