Mrs. REINECKE Dies In Texas

Bertha COFFIN REINECKE, 73, died April 1, at Lubbock, Tex. She had been seriously ill for five months.

The second daughter of Everett and Cora WATERS COFFIN, she was born October 27, 1903, near Pleasant Plain. She was graduated from the Pleasant Plain High school in 1923, and completed her nursing training at the Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield in 1926.

The following nine years she did nursing in hospitals in Fairfield; Colorado; Albuquerque, New Mexico; Pomona, Calif.; and in Honolulu, Hawaii.

On August 14, 1935, she was married to Richard REINECKE, who preceded her in death June 26, 1970. For many years the REINECKEs lived in El Vado Lake near Tierra Amarilla, New Mexico.

She was a lifelong member of the Pleasant Plain Friends Church.

Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. M.W. COLE, Kailua, Hawaii, and one brother, Earl COFFIN, Fairfield; also three sisters: Mrs. Everett (Edith) PENCIL, Washington; Mrs. Charles (Mabel) IRVING, Elmhurst, Ill., and Mrs. Herschel MENDENHALL, Fairfield.

Mrs. MENDENHALL will attend services for her sister at the Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Albuquerque, N.M. Burial will be in the National Cemetery at Santa Fe, N.M.
