Richard Joseph VOGT

Richard Joseph VOGT, 60, of 109 S. 15th St., died at 2:53 a.m. today, Wednesday, Dec. 10, at his home.

The family will be receiving guests from 1-3 p.m. Saturday at the house.

Memorials may be made to Libertyville and Pekin schools to benefit his grandchildren.

Mr. VOGT was born Oct. 4, 1943, in Jefferson County, the son of Raymond and Martha Etta LANKFORD VOGT. He married Laura HECKETHORN Oct. 25, 1965.

Mr. VOGT was the owner of Cross Iron Excavating, which will be taken on by his son.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Licea NICHOLSON of Richland and Lorena BAKER and husband Rick of Hedrick; one son, Richard R. VOGT and wife Mindy of Fairfield; one brother, James L. VOGT of Fairfield; one sister, Roenna Fern POOL of Fairfield; and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

CORRECTION

Due to incomplete information supplied to The Ledger, some of Richard VOGT's family members were left out of his obituary that ran in Wednesday's paper.

Survivors left out include one daughter, Dody WAGNER and two sons, Tim and Mike WAGNER, all of Fairfield; three sisters, Donnie STEVENS of Fairfield, Midge GRIENER of Fairfield and Julie GIBSON of Texas; and one brother, Robert VOGT of Richland.
