Elizabeth R. 'Libby' WOODRUFF

Elizabeth R. "Libby" WOODRUFF, 85, of rural Milton died at 11:50 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 30, 2012, at Good Samaritan Society-Van Buren Hospice, Keosauqua.

Arrangements are pending at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua.

Elizabeth 'Libby' Rose WOODRUFF

Elizabeth "Libby" Rose WOODRUFF, 85, of Milton, died Sunday, Sept. 30, 2012, at the Good Samaritan Society in Keosauqua.

A private family memorial service will be at a later date. The body has been cremated. Pedrick Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

Memorials may be made to Good Samaritan Society or Good Samaritan Hospice. Cards and memorials can be mailed to 24668 V56, Milton 52570.

Ms. WOODRUFF was born May 31, 1927, in Montrose, the daughter of Roy MORGAN and Nellie Ruth WALLACE MORGAN. She married Stanley Wayne WOODRUFF Sept. 6, 1946, in Montrose.

Ms. WOODRUFF graduated from Montrose High School.

She served as director of the Keokuk and Fairfield Chamber of Commerce, and as the executive director of the Van Buren County Development Association.

She was a field representative for the American Cancer Society, assistant activity director for the Good Samaritan Society and worked as a recruiter for Indian Hills Community College's G.E.D. department.

She was an accomplished pianist, and enjoyed entertaining at local events and at nursing homes.

Survivors include three sons, Steve WOODRUFF and spouse Marie of Salina, Kan., Roy WOODRUFF and spouse Deb of Ottumwa, and Randy WOODRUFF and Rhonda of Milton; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; three brothers, Drury MORGAN, George MORGAN, and Clel MORGAN; and one sister, Lura GRABER.
