Funeral set for C. Kelley

Clifford Earl KELLEY, 82, of Route 4, was found dead in his home northwest of Fairfield Monday morning.

He was born May 15, 1904, at Libertyville, to Dan and Ida RODIBAUGH KELLEY. The retired carpenter and farmer lived most of his life in Jefferson County. He was a member of the Ottumwa Local No. 767 of the carpenter's union and was affiliated with the Methodist Church.

Kelley married Irene LYONS July 19, 1925, at Ansley, Neb. She died June 23, 1976.

Including his wife, he was preceded in death by two brothers.

He is survived by a son, Bernard R. of Galesburg, Ill.; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Graveside rites will be Thursday at 11:30 a.m. at Fell Cemetery near Libertyville. The Rev. Mary Ann Vernard will officiate. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7 to 8 p.m. at Raymond Funeral Home.

Memorials may be left to the Iowa Lung Association.

(I have researched the RODABAUGH/RODIBAUGH lineage for over 40 years.)
