Mrs. Anna B. ALSTON Dies In California

Mrs. Anna B. ALSTON, wife of the late Henry C. ALSTON, former resident of Fairfield, passed away Wednesday at her home, 1045 S. St. Andrews place (sic.) in Los Angeles, California.

Mrs. Fred RAINS and Mrs. William CUPP of this city are nieces. Mrs. ALSTON was the last member of her family.

Anna RICHARDSON ALSTON, daughter of George and Agnes RICHARDSON, was born in Jefferson county, west of Fairfield, March 11, 1865. She left here with her husband in 1933 (sic. this date could possibly be meant as 1928; her husband Henry C. ALSTON died on Sept. 20, 1932, and his obituary mentioned they moved there four years previous). She was a member of the Presbyterian church and the P.E.O.

Mrs. Etta B. EDMUNDS of Ottumwa, another niece, left for California to attend the funeral services which will be held Monday, with burial at Forest Lawn cemetery in Glendale.
