William Foster Rice, who died at his home 5 ½ miles north of Fairfield, Iowa, Jan. 7, was born in Juniata County, Penn., Feb 15 1869. When but two years old his parents came to Jefferson County, Iowa. Here he grew to manhood and was married to Miss Electa Williford, of near Mt. Pleasant, Apr. 18 1900…..The first year after their marriage was spent at Woolson, Iowa in a store…..He leaves a devoted wife, father and mother and four brothers, two sisters, and a little son five years olds. Methodist Church. Services at McDowell Chapel 3 p.m. Sunday Jan. 9.
