Edith Jane HELFENSTINE, 92, 604 W. Burlington, died at 1:20 a.m. today at the Parkview Care Center where she had been a resident for the past two years.
Services are pending at the Raymond Funeral Home. The Rev. Keith Lingwall will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Edith Jane HELFENSTINE was born April 26, 1889, near Glasgow in Jefferson County. She was the daughter of Ed and Ada EMERSON LITTON.
She was married to William B. HELFENSTINE Oct. 22, 1925, in Fort Madison. He died July, 1980.
Mrs. HELFENSTINE lived her entire life in Jefferson County. She was employed for seven years at the Fairfield Glove Co. and was a member of the Lutheran Church.
Survivors include two sons, Jack, Spirit Lake, and Jerry, Wichita Falls, Texas; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Rhuie WATSON, Fairfield. She was preceded in death by a sister.

Services for Edith Jane HELFENSTINE will be Monday at 3 p.m. at the Raymond Funeral Home with the Rev. Keith Lingwall officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Mrs. HELFENSTINE died at 1:20 a.m. Friday at the Parkview Care Center where she had been a resident the past two years.
Mrs. HELFENSTINE formerly lived at 604 W. Burlington Avenue.
She was born April 26, 1899 in Jefferson County near Glasgow. Her marriage to William B. HELFENSTINE took place Oct. 25, 1922 at Fort Madison.
Survivors include two sons: Jack, Spirit Lake, and Jerry, Wichita Falls, Texas; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Rhuie WATSON, Fairfield.

TO ALL PERSONS INTERESTED IN THE ESTATE OF EDITH J. HELFENSTINE, DECEASED:
YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED THAT ON THE 19TH DAY OF MARCH, 1982, THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF EDITH J. HELFENSTINE, DECEASED BEARING DATE OF THE 2ND DAY OF MAY, 1972, WAS ADMITTED TO PROBATE IN THE ABOVE NAMED COURT AND THAT JERRY C. HELFENSTINE AND JACK L. HELFENSTINE WERE APPOINTED EXECUTORS OF SAID ESTATE.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN THAT ANY ACTION TO SET ASIDE SAID WILL MUST BE BROUGHT IN THE DISTRICT COURT OF SAID COUNTY WITHIN SIX MONTHS FROM THE DATE OF THE SECOND PUBLICATION OF THIS NOTICE, OR THEREAFTER BE FOREVER BARRED.
