SARA ELIZABETH LAWSON

Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth LAWSON, 73, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lela BARTHOLOW, 514 North Weller street, at 10:30 a.m. today.

She was the daughter of Thomas and Rachel LAWSON and was born June 10, 1863 in Rodgersville, Tenn. She had lived in Ottumwa for the last sixteen years. She was a member of the Christian church in Fairfield and the Women of Woodcraft of Denver, Colo.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. BARTHOLOW; three sisters, Mrs. Mary BRADFORD of Ottumwa, Mrs. Nancy ANDERSON of Birmingham and Mrs. M. A. WOLF of Chicago, Ill.; one brother, Henry LAWSON of Ottumwa, and four grandchildren, Marie, Donald, Delores and Betty BARTHOLOW, all of Ottumwa.

Funeral services will be held at the Johnson funeral chapel at 1:30 p.m. Saturday. Burial will be made in Evergreen cemetery at Fairfield.
