“Veo, Jan. 26. A Mrs. Kephardt, of Ottumwa, who was visiting at the home of Mr. Barnes, died very suddenly of neuralgia of the heart last Thursday morning. She was buried in the grave yard at McDowell Chapel on Sat. 46 years old. Three children, a son and two daughters are left to mourn.”
