The following was noted in "Jefferson County Records" by Orville & Mary Prill, Vol. 6, Page 204a, with other LONG obituaries on the back of a Family Group Sheet. Its source was not cited.

William Ross LONG, son of Lewis H. & Mary Ann (HAWK) LONG, born 6 Apr 1875 in Jeff. Co. Iowa; m. 21 Feb 1900 Carrie SWANSON; he died 1 June 1951 near Edmonds, Wash.; bur. Pacific Lutheran Cemetery at Seattle; wife died 13 Jan 1965 Seattle, Wash. 3 children: Clarice Lucille, b. 13 Mar 1902; Victor Ross, b. 17 Jul 1909; and Howard LONG, b. 24 Nov 1911.
