J. V. PERRY Dies At 58

James V. PERRY, 58, 804 N. Court, died Wednesday, 4:50 p.m., at the Jefferson County Hospital. He had been ill the past several years following a stroke.

He was born Jan. 13, 1920 at Washington, the son of Samuel and Mary E. VALENTINE PERRY. On Aug. 3, 1938 he married Edna Mae LAGLE at Memphis, Mo. He worked for Iowa Malleable Company over 30 years, was a WWII veteran and a member of First Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife; three sons, Jack of Lexington, Ky., Dennis of Fairfield, Steven of Cedar Rapids; two grandchildren; two brothers, Robert of Lockridge, Marvin of Independence, Mo.; five sisters, Mrs. Paul HULL of Fairfield, Mrs. Frank SWINK of Mount Pleasant, Mrs. Harold BROWN, Mrs. Carl JOHNSON and Mrs. John WILLEY, all of New London.

Funeral services are pending at the Behner Funeral Home.
