LOCKRIDGE -- Mrs. Wilma MARTSCHING, 47, Lockridge, died Monday at 1:25 p.m. at the Jefferson County Hospital. She had been in failing health for some time.
Services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Church of the Nazarene in Mount Pleasant with the Rev. Carlton Easley officiating. Burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery. Friends may call at the Elliott Chapel in New London Wednesday evening.
Mrs. MARTSCHING was the former Wilma PICKARD. She was born Aug. 11, 1925 near Mount Pleasant, the daughter of James and Gladys JACKSON PICKARD.
She was married to Lester MARTSCHING Dec. 1, 1944. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene. Surviving are her husband; one son, Owen, Burlington; and her mother, Mrs. Gladys PICKARD, Salem.
The following brothers and sisters also survive: Milton of Clemons, Iowa; Dale of Salem; Cecil of Victorville, Calif.; and Dewaine of Ankeny; Mrs. Earl KENNEDY, Fairfield; Mrs. Wayne HALLOWELL, Mount Pleasant; Mrs. Wilbur RANCK, New London; and Mrs. Harold FRAISE, Danville.
