William P. HAIFLEY died at his home about three miles northwest of Germanville about noon Tuesday. He was born June 11, 1847, and had attained the age of about 96 years. He was married to Mrs. Mary E. LEFFLER PONTIOUS who had a son John by a previous marriage. She died many years ago. Since then John has lived with his stepfather. Funeral services will be held from the home on Friday at 10 o'clock in charge of the Rev. Paul Kenyon. Burial will be in the Union Cemetery.
